Coaching Philosophy

It is critical that children build a strong physical foundation at a young age to help prepare them better for a lifetime of healthy, sporting activity. It is equally important that a coaching program offers balance and variety while being both engaging and fun.

The carefully structured curriculum at the Rohan Bopanna Tennis Academy (RBTA) ticks all these boxes and aims to guide children through various stages of their development. The RBTA Coaching Team assesses every child’s age, development and proficiency to identify a suitable program and group for each of them.

The program, created by Rohan is implemented on a day-to-day basis by a team of qualified, enthusiastic coaches committed to making sports training an exciting and enjoyable experience.

We also believe that it is imperative that coaches and parents must work together to ensure children get the best from the program. At RBTA students are continuously evaluated and progress reports shared regularly with parents. Rohan also meets parents, to share tips on managing ambitions and counsel them on how to get the best from their children, during his visit.
